Why Visit The Courtyard Dental Practice
The Courtyard Dental Practice was founded in 2007 by Alexia Chandler and our dental practice has grown to offer treatments by four experienced dentists. We offer most forms of dental treatments at our dental clinic to keep you in your familiar environment throughout your time with us. We are a small, tight knit dental team who will care for you, your family and of course your teeth. The welcome you will receive is second to none and our dental care and treatments are delivered in a kind and gentle way.
Our dentists, Alexia, Rob and Rebecca all qualified from Birmingham University in December 1992 offering between them over 99 years of experience. Our facial aesthetics and Invisalign practitioner, Ailsa qualified from Bristol in 2012, bringing to our practice and patients new cosmetic experiences and opportunities for our Courtyard family. Ailsa also delivers general dentistry too.

Here at the Courtyard Dental Practice we appreciate how important the first impressions are for everyone. Children are welcomed and we make their dentist visits fun and enjoyable. With step-free access at our dental surgery you can bring your pushchair when you visit with your little ones. We even have toys to keep them entertained and our hand puppets can make a dental visit more enjoyable too.

We welcome anyone feeling anxious or nervous about visiting the dentist. All appointments are taken at your pace with lots of discussion and understanding. With a downstairs dental surgery we can offer treatment to less mobile members of the community too making wheelchair access easy too.

About Us
The Courtyard Dental Practice was founded as a single surgery practice in 2007 by Alexia. Our garage conversion dental practice was initially advertised with flyers detailing our dentistry services around Dunchurch and surrounding villages. At the time there was one dentist and one nurse, now we’re a team of nine.
Today we have two surgeries with four experienced dentists and five knowledgeable staff members. We offer late night appointments and earlier times too, making seeing a dentist even easier.
As a general dental practice we offer all forms of private dental treatments. We also offer specialist dental treatment and cosmetic dentistry including Invisalign. We have our dentist Rob Cope who has been placing dental implants for over 28 years working with us on Fridays. Facial aesthetics such as dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections are also offered in house too by our practitioner Ailsa David.
We work with incredible, highly-skilled dental laboratories meaning denture, crown and bridge work are performed by all of us. Patient satisfaction is something we care about greatly and we strive for this during every visit.

How can I book an appointment?
If your dental issue is during our working hours, we will give advice and book the earliest appropriate appointment for you.
We also offer an out of hours dental service. If you call us on 01788 519831, you will hear an option for our on-call dentist. Please leave them a message on their mobile phone and they will call you to help with your dental issue.
I have a dental problem, what should I do?
Yes, Denplan is available. If you are new to the dental practice you will need to book a private consultation first. The plan isn’t ideal for everyone, during your consultation we’ll make sure you’re dentally fit before the denplan assessment and quote is given. Contact us to find out if our dental plan is right for you.
Do you offer a dental plan?
At your appointment, we will give you a step-by-step treatment plan showing what treatment has been prescribed and the costs. Treatment is paid for at the time it is done, so you will know how much things will cost before we start.
Should things change mid treatment, we will have a conversation to make sure you are aware of any changes and any price implications. We accept card payments or BACS transfers by arrangement.
How can I pay for dental treatment?
A new patient appointment is £99.50. This is a 45 minute dental appointment and includes all intra-oral X-rays taken at the time. We will be able to discuss your treatment needs and wishes and develop a bespoke dental plan. The plan will have a full costing for you, which we will share. We can then discuss your time frame and book any appointments accordingly.
How much does a dental check up cost?
We are a solely private dental practice. We do not accept NHS patients or offer NHS treatments.
Do you accept NHS patients?
Unfortunately we do not have a car park. There is parking in the market square opposite our archway or in the Dun Cow car park and there is on-street parking too.
If you need to be dropped outside the practice, there is a spot for this purpose directly outside.
Does the Courtyard Dental Practice have parking?
We have access for the less mobile, with a ramp and hand rail, and accessible facilities too.
Is the dental clinic accessible?
